Il Mono Studio is a creative space shared by sound engineers and producers Matteo Cantaluppi and Matteo Sandri, located inside Laboratori Testone, at Via Baldo degli Ubaldi 8, Milan.

The studio is also home to Cassis Records & Publishing, an independent record label and publishing company dedicated to producing and promoting high-quality national and international music projects.

In addition to the usual backline of drums and guitar/bass amplifiers (Vox, Acoustic, Ampeg, Marshall, etc.), we offer an extensive collection of keyboards and synthesizers, including a Wurlitzer 200A, Fender Rhodes, Yamaha U3 Disklavier Upright, Moog Voyager, Roland TR-909, Roland JX-3P, Prophet ’08, Korg MS20, Korg Polysix, Novation Bass Station, Prophet 6, and many other machines.

We have been collaborating for years with some of the leading Italian educational institutions specialized in audio technology, opening our doors to students and organizing seminars on various topics such as software, music production, synthesis, and sound engineering — with a particular focus on analog synthesis and modular synthesizers.

At Il Mono Studio, we have produced, recorded, and/or composed music for feature films such as Poveri Ma Ricchissimi, Sotto Il Sole Di Riccione, and The Special Need, as well as soundtracks for major European advertising campaigns, including Fiesta, Nutella, Alfa Brera, Danone, Danette, Roberto Cavalli, Mani Tese, Estathè, Meguppa (Renault), and Kimbo, just to name a few.

Over the years, we have recorded, mixed, and/or produced hundreds of tracks that have earned dozens of official FIMI Gold and Platinum certifications.
